The day I met Charlotte Tilbury..

Where do I even start with this post? Let's rewind back to a fortnight ago..

..when my best friend Jade screenshot a Selfridges email and sent it to me captioned, 'just in case you hadn't seen'. This screen shot had three words that stood out to me. Meet. Charlotte. Tilbury. AHHH. Naturally I told jade we had to go no matter what, and she booked our tickets for us.

(apologies about the bad quality pictures this will be sorted this week!)

The tickets cost £55, which was redeemable on Charlotte Tilbury products. I love this because the meet up is essentially free then because you would never leave empty handed. The meet up was at the Trafford Centre at 4pm, so we got there at half 3 and joined the queue. There were glasses of champagne on offer, and little lipstick samples (and biscuits!) going around whilst we waited.

The atmosphere was incredible, even people walking past stopped and waited for Charlotte to arrive. There was a DJ on at the side of the CT pop up counter, adding to the liveliness and excitement. The DJ was playing music such as Beyonce and Aretha Franklin, all strong inspiring women just like Charlotte.

When she arrived, everyone cheered and waved. She walked to the pop up stage after 10 models, all of which had their faces made up in the 10 different iconic looks that Charlotte is famous for. The models were absolutely stunning! Every one of them was flawless. Of course Charlotte looked amazing, she instantly took centre stage in a floor length black dress with her infamous ginger locks in waves past her shoulders. Beautiful!

Charlotte had an assistant with her, and when it was each person's turn to meet her, she analysed our faces and advised on what she thought the best products were for us. Her assistant ticked them off on the product lists we were given whilst we were waiting. She told me I had big, beautiful eyes just like JLo's (wow) and that I should wear more blusher for a healthy glow. Of course I have been wearing blusher everyday since haha. After a hug goodbye, I made my way to the Charlotte Tilbury counter with one of her makeup artists, who then did what Charlotte suggested and warmed up my face with some bronze and blusher. I picked some products and put them into the keepsake box that Charlotte had signed and given to me. I will keep this box forever it's so special to me!

Jade and I then enjoyed a Wagamamas before heading home, talking only of how pleasant and down to earth Charlotte was. We love her!
