Wedding Makeup Inspiration..

Wedding season is fast approaching, meaning it's time to switch up your makeup bag..

Or, if like me, you wear a pale pinky-nude lip almost every day of the year, you won't have to switch it up quite so much. But still, I think we can all agree that by the time March comes around, we're all kind of drifting away from the Winter reds and deep purples, and heading towards a lighter, brighter face.

I was at a family wedding up in Glasgow last weekend so I thought why not share on here the makeup I wore in case you're in need of some inspiration. My dress was pale blue (I'll leave a link below to my dress and shoes if you want to nosy) so I thought I'd keep my makeup to a champagney, rose goldy eye with my usual pale pink nude lip. I'm also aware that half of the words I'm using to describe this aren't in the Oxford dictionary, my bad.

I only realised when we arrived at the hotel and started to unpack how much of the makeup I'd brought with me was quite high end, but with it being a special occasion I wanted my makeup to last so I did reach for some of my tried and tested, most loved products. Anyway, here's some of the products I wore on my face..

I took this at the hotel but changed my mind on the Kiko lipstick pen!

The Body Shop Vitamin E face mist (all over before makeup, and to dampen my Beauty Blender)
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise cream shadow in Jean (all over lid)
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick in Rose Gold (blended out in crease)
Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in Nude Kate (Apt seeing as the bride was called Kate!)
Charlotte Tilbury lipgloss in Seduction
Soap and Glory bronzer in Solar Powder
Mac pigment in Vanilla (tearduct)
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter in Champagne Pop (cheekbones, brow bone, Cupid's bow)
Loreal Infallible Sculpt Soft Sand Blush Trio (tiniest bit on the apples of my cheeks)

Hopefully if you have a wedding or are looking for some Spring inspiration to change up your makeup routine you've found this useful! Let me know in the comments if you use any of these products and what you think. Happy belated Easter!

Thanks for reading x
