Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

I've been meaning to write this post for so long now! Well since around May when I first invested in the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. It is only now as I am almost finished my first bottle that I have actually remembered! Bad blogger I know.

I know this has been reviewed countless times and is probably old news, however I only review things that I am really loving, and this is definitely up there in my top 3 skin care products. When I first bought this it came in a cute little mint green bag to match the bottle, along with two muslin cloths. This apparently is the starter kit and cost me around £15.50. 100% worth every penny, it's amazing!
I thought it may be too much effort at first, as I usually like my night time routine to be quick and effortless because I'm tired. But there is something quite relaxing about lathering your face in a cleansing cream and gently rubbing it off with a heated muslin cloth. The instructions recommend filling the sink with hot (not too hot) water and soaking your cloth in it, before softly removing the cream and your makeup off with it. I think I like it so much because it reminds me of being at a spa getting a facial, because of the heat from the cloth and the way it literally melts every bit of make up from my face. You then splash your face with cold water and pat dry with a towel. This is to close up your pores in order to reduce any bad skin appearing. I then moisturise to lock in the luxurious cleanse and get into bed feeling super clean and pampered.

My boyfriend laughs at me because no matter how late it is, whether I've been on a night out with the girls and arrive back at 3am, I always make time to remove my make up. I just cannot sleep with it on and with this cleanse and polish, I feel as though every last bit is off, leaving me fresh faced ready for a good nights sleep. You don't just have to use this at night though, this can be fit into your skincare routine replacing your cleansing step at any point throughout the day. I imagine it to be super refreshing when used in the morning too. As it says on the bottle, the polish contains naturally active ingredients such as Rosemary, chamomile, Cocoa butter and Eucalyptus essential oil. All soothing and calming ingredients to gently smooth out the skin leaving it radiant and glowing.

Have you tried any Liz Earle products? I'd love to hear any recommendations as I'm eager to invest in more of her products.

Thanks for reading x

  1. I use so many Liz Earle products! I'm glad you got on with the Cleanse & Polish, if you want a viewpoint on some of the other products I did a post not long ago about my skincare routine with them! http://lucycynthia.blogspot.co.uk/2015/06/my-skincare-routine.html
